The Disruptor Beam site can be very daunting when your new and wanting some quick answers to questions.  While I am an officer in the Alliance, I am still very much a newbie to the game and its mechanic, so I thought I would start a thread for newbies and the not so new-bie to help others like myself to sort through all the technical, over your head techno-speak stuff and concentrate on the basic info needed to play and participate in the Alliance Challenges and Camps.

This thread will not be a discussion thread, its simply a place where info is gathered from other sources or members knowledge.  Should you have anything to submit, please do so.  If you find anything that is posted to be incorrect or needs modifying, please add a comment.  The post will be updated and the comments will be removed.
